Let Us Pray: Sunday @ St. Hubert
Dear Saint Hubert Parish Family,
This Sunday we hear yet another very fitting set of readings for our times. We hear about where to find God's hand in the midst of turbulence, in the midst of confusion, and even in the midst of fear.
So, please join us for prayer as we contemplate God's word and take it into our lives.
Whether we're able to be together in person or on-line, let us pray.
We're Still On-Line!

A Young Woman Discovers Her Vocation
It's with great joy that we announce that one of our parishioners, Jazmine Rangel, has been accepted into the formation program with the
Salesian Sisters, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. She'll begin on September 8, which is a very meaningful day in the life of the Church. It's the day we celebrate the birth of Mary!
Jazzy has graciously agreed to offer some insights on how she felt God helped her realize her vocation--a perfect reflection for the first reading today, which is all about the unexpe
cted way God can speak to us, even during a pandemic. You'll find her reflection in
As much as she is happy and full of joy, so are we! As we get closer to her time of departure, we'll bless her as she heads into this important time in her life. She is a remarkable young woman, and a joy to be around.
A Noon Mass Added Next for Sunday!
Next Sunday, August 16th, we will offer a third Mass beginning at noon. That will allow another 100+ parishioners to join us in person--for those ready to do so. We're planning to resume the much anticipated 4:30pm Saturday Mass either August 29 or September 5. We'll keep you posted.
The sign-up for Sunday and Weekday Masses begins Wednesdays at 6pm and concludes Saturday evenings at 7pm. Weekday Masses are offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:30am.
Eucharistic Adoration are held Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm. It's not necessary to sign-up for Reconciliation, but helps us prepare for your arrival.
You can find the sign-up links on the Wednesday Flocknote or

Thank You for Helping Us Keep Going
Just like so many families, small businesses, and non-profit organizations, we are doing our best to try get through--especially when we cannot be together in person, which means our weekly collections are not what they were. And that's very understandable. We're all trying to get through.
That's why we say over and over again that we truly appreciate the effort everyone is making to send
in weekly contributions in the

Your support--spiritually and financially--have kept us going and connected to our mission to build up the Body of Christ in our corner of the world.
The Final Word
We're grateful to Fr. Smilanic for returning this weekend for the in-person Masses. He's been a good friend to us, and it's good to have him with us again. And it was really good to have Fr. Bob Rizzo return home to us on Saturday to preside at the first weekend of Confirmation Masses. Our newly Confirmed and their families have been waiting a long time, and now they rejoice having the Holy Spirit come boldly into their lives.
I'm at a family wedding this weekend to see the blessing of my niece and Goddaughter marry the love of her life. Like so many couples who are planning weddings, it's been such a difficult time. But like my niece told me, the people most important to them will be there, and of course God will be there, too! Faith endures.
Whether in-person or on-line, it will be good to stay connected in prayer this weekend. God has a way of reminding us he's holding onto us and speaking to us, especially when we don't know where to look.
Let's continue to pray for each other,
--Fr. Mike and the Saint Hubert Parish Staff
